Giving insects a home can help your garden thrive and help conservation of vital wildlife.
Insect hotels help to attract pollinating bee’s, ladybirds and lacewings which are natural at helping get rid of garden pests such as aphids and greenflies.
Place your insect hotels on a south-facing wall in sunlight or light shade about 1.5m off the ground. Make sure there is no vegetation blocking the entrances to the tunnels.
